James R. Buescher, 89, Springfield, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022.  Born September 30 ^th , 1933 in Oak Park, Ill to Walter and Olga Buescher.  He graduated from the University of Illinois and served in the U.S Army. He worked for Kroger, Pillsbury, and Waldon and Sons in food marketing. He loved golf and the lake of the Ozarks.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Jane Sorenson, Mary McDonald, and Kay Lupi and his dear companion Barbara Wright.

He leaves behind 3 sons, Scott, Jeff and Brad Buescher, nine grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Private burial will be held in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
