Jakob David Honeycutt, 39, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Jake was born on September 8, 1985 to Paula Roe and David Honeycutt in Florida. Jake was a state record holder for football for kicking at a Punt, Pass and Kick Tournament. He graduated from Glendale in 2004. In 2009, Jake met the love of his life, Rosanna (Annie) Corbett, while working together at the Sonic on Sunshine Street in Springfield. They were married on October 10, 2014.

What Jake loved most was taking care of Annie and his cats, Marley, Zora, Feo and Jack. He also loved football; his favorite team was the Buffalo Bills. He was so charismatic; it always made him the life of the party. He loved helping people—his family, friends and even strangers. He truly made the world a better place. He also loved playing card games with his in-laws and had a passion for gardening; he especially loved the hot peppers!

Jake is survived by his wife, Annie Honeycutt. Jake will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A wake will be held at Best of Luck Beer Hall, 313-B S Jefferson Ave, Springfield, MO 65806, on November 23 from 5-7PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made through Venmo, username @JnAHoneycutt or Cashapp, username $JnAHoneycutt to help with expenses.
