Jacqueline Anne "Jacquie" Wheeler, age 79 years old, of Strafford, Missouri, passed away at 2:40 am, on November 22, 2024 while at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Jacquie was born May 19, 1945, the daughter of William L. Reynolds, an MIT graduate and Doris L. Reynolds nee Lovely, a homemaker, in Boston, MA.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Reynolds, her mother Doris Reynolds, her maternal Grandmother Ariel "Nanna" Lovely and her son Bradley Hughes.

Jacquie and David have previously lived in Leavenworth, KS., Oberlin, LA., Springfield, MO., Katy, TX. before moving to Strafford, MO. in 2010.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, David Wheeler of Strafford, MO., daughter Annette Quesnel of Ekenburg Center, NY., daughter Chanon Kraus and wife Jen of Lee's Summit, MO., grandson Cierdan Berrens of Lee's Summit, MO., granddaughter Amanda Cunningham and husband Brian of Dandridge, TN., Best friends Mary Gagne and Darlene Corbet of Fryburg, ME., friends Jen & Mike Banda of Katy, TX., and numerous other friends across the U.S.

Jacquie was married to David Wheeler in September 1975 in Leavenworth, KS. She became a Registered Nurse in 1981. She retired as Registered Nurse who worked as a CVICU nurse at Cox South and as a travel nurse in many states across the United States. She enjoyed helping people, and her hobbies included knitting, making stained glass artwork, scrapbooking and traveling with her husband. She was a wonderful person, a great Mother, and a good friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her and whose lives she touched.
