Jackson Charles (Jack) Pilgrim, 27, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, September 17. Jack is survived by his father and mother, Christopher and Elizabeth Pilgrim, a sister, Grace Elizabeth Pilgrim, along with grandparents Charles and Connie Jobe, all of Springfield.  Jack also touched the lives of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jack was a gifted high school student in many areas, including cello and debate at Glendale High School. He earned a Bright Flight scholarship to the University of Missouri. He enjoyed cooking, was known for his sense of humor and a vast knowledge of trivia. But the outdoors was by far his favorite place. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, disc golf and kayaking.

Jack had a curiosity and genuine compassion for everyone and everything around him.  He loved deeply, and he will be greatly missed by those that loved him.

A memorial and celebration of Jackson's life will be held on a future date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating blood to the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks.
