Jackie was born and raised in Fairfax, Missouri.  She attended the University of Missouri studying elementary education where she met the love of her life, Barney Whitlock.  They married in college and upon graduation, they moved to Springfield where she began her career in teaching.  Jackie was a phenomenal teacher and was loved by her students.  They had three children and after their second, Jackie became a stay home Mom.  Wife, Mom, and Nana were her most important roles, and she was the best at all of them.  She volunteered at church, school, and Jr. League.  Jackie was everyone's Mom. The house was always full of kids.  She cooked and cared for many kids that were not her own.  She was a loving Nana to her grandchildren and Mother to so many. She was also an avid Mizzou supporter and fan, loved golfing, and spending time at the lake with family. Jackie is preceded by her husband Barney Whitlock, parents Edith and Bob Jorgensen, and her in-laws Mary and Herbert Whitlock.  Jackie is survived by her children and grandchildren, Cary, Mike, Kelley and Abby Davison, Kelsey Cummings, Cole Cummings, Sarah and Cameron Ketelsleger, Greg, Janelle, Michael, Devon and Jessica Whitlock, Chris, Jennifer, Caitlyn, Catherine and Caroline Whitlock, her sister Beverly Fredrick, and in laws Diane and Hadley Whitlock, as well as many nieces and nephews.
