Jack O. Evans born July 28, 1922, seventh of eight children, of Charles H. and Mary F. Evans, Springfield, MO passed away April 17, 2015. He graduated from Central High School and later attended Draughon's Business College and Drury University. Jack served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps in India-Burma Theatre in World War II. He retired from BNSF Railway in 1984 after 42 years. He attended and was a member of King's Way United Methodist Church for over 50 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth; brothers, Russell, Alford, Frank, Charles, Carl and Bob; and sister, Lorraine. Jack is survived by wife, Jacqueline; son, Russell; granddaughter, Carlee Evans Brown and husband Miles; and great-grandson, Beckham Brown. A private family service is planned for a later date.
