Jack O. DeLozier, 71, succumbed to injuries sustained in a work related accident on Oct 3, 2018.  He was born on Sept. 17, 1947 in Prairie Grove, Ark. to Dane and Brunette DeLozier. He has lived most of his life in Springfield where he attended Holland, Pershing and Parkview schools.  Jack served in the Navy completing two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was the owner of Standguard Security  and was also a 32 year retiree from SWBT.  He and his wife Mary (Moye) were married 47 years and raised three sons. Jack was an avid supporter of all the sporting events involving his boys.  He continued his love of sports in refereeing high school football for 22 years.  One of the highlights of his retirement years has been riding his beloved Harley motorcycle with the Harley Owners Group.  Jack is preceded in death by his parents and his son Brian.  He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Mark and wife Barbi; son, Matt and wife Lauren; grandchildren, Jack, Preston, Brett, Elise and Camille; step-grandson Mychal Adamson and wife Lauren; Brett's mother, Bobbie DeLozier; brother, Richard and wife Sally; sister, Debbie Koch; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Fahey; many nieces, nephews and friends.  If you knew Jack then you knew he was the kindest, nicest gentleman ever.

Memorial service will be held Friday, October 12th at The Springs Church, 5500 S. Southwood.  Visitation will follow the service.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to
