Jack N. Brown, age 80, of Springfield left us on June 7, 2013 in Mercy Hospital. Jack was a kind and gentle man and a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Jack graduated from Joplin High and attended Kirksville College on a football scholarship. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Lorillard, Inc after thirty-five years. His hobby was making his family happy. Jack is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Lois; son, Mitch Brown; daughters, Marcie (Arturo) Toscaano and Michelle Arcidino (Ed Richardson); grandson, Kory Arcidino and granddoggie, Dali. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
