Ivan R. Davis, Jr., 98, of Springfield, passed away on July 5, 2023. He was born in Gregory, AR to Ivan and Leona Davis. He was a WWII Veteran and a member of First and Calvary Presbyterian Church. He was always doing something creative.  When he chose to do something, he kept his word.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Thelma Bernadine Hoffman and Ella Jean Davis and daughter, Nancy Davis.

Ivan is survived by his spouse, Mera Lee Davis of Springfield; daughter, Valerie Bietendorf (Jim) of Nixa, MO; niece, Letha K. Simmons of AZ; nephew, Lloyd R. Hoffman of FL; brother-in-law, Don Hoffman of AZ; niece, Karen and husband Steve Teague Fuquay-Varina, NC.

Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Prayer service at interment on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 2:00 PM in Maple Park Cemetery, 300 W. Grand, Springfield, MO 65807.
