Iretha was born in Golden City, MO on January 4, 1931. She passed away peacefully on February 7, 2022, in her home.

In 1949, she married her beloved late husband Donald, and to this union 3 children: Donna Duncan (Jeff), Lynda Kessler (Craig), and Greg DeGood (Heather). Iretha has 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

In the early 1960's, she worked at Crank's drugstore, and she graduated from the Blue Bonnet Beauty School.

Iretha was always ready for a competitive game of cards or Mexican train, loved to fish, and enjoyed putting on a large feast for visiting family and friends. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

A private family service will be held on Thursday, February 17, under the arrangement of Gorman-Scharpf funeral home. Iretha will be laid to rest at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
