Irene Mary Jane Beck, 88, of Springfield passed away on October 27, 2021. She was born June 26, 1933 to Henry and Opal Forester in Barry County, MO.

Irene was united in marriage to Donald "Don" Beck on September 22, 1950 in Cassville, MO. They were together 71 years, 1 month and 5 days. She worked for Lily Tulip Cups for over 30 years. She loved fishing, visiting the mountains, gardening and her flowers. She was saved at age 35 and was a member of Second Baptist Church, where she was active in her Sunday School class. She loved to cook and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Eli Forester.

She is survived by her husband; son, Harold Beck (Jane) of Springfield; daughter, Donna Rososky (Tom) of Summerfield, NC; brother, Homer Forester of Aurora, MO; grandchildren Kari Vaughn, Brian Yubely, Alaina Edwards (John), Sarah Freeman (Josh) and Stephen Rososky; great grandchildren Abigail Edwards, Lara Zolke, Robert Edwards and Alanis Zolke.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 2 at 12:30 PM, also at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Danforth Cemetery.
