Ina G. Howard, 91, Springfield, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 in James River Care Center. She was born June 2, 1919 in Versailes, MO, the daughter of Dorsey and Ina Opal Williams Nevis. She had worked for Lily Tulip and was a member of Golden Avenue Baptist Church since 1947. Ina was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Delores Long. She is survived by two sons, Lewis and wife Lorrain Howard and Milton and wife, Linda Howard; a daughter, Sharon Long and husband Frank; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-granchildren. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2011 in New Beginning Southern Baptist Church with Lance Alsup officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.gormanscharpf.com.
