Howard M. Williams, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at home in Scottsdale, AZ in the presence of his family.  The son of Lawrence and Pearl Moss Williams, he was born January 2, 1922, in Springfield, Mo.

He was an extraordinary individual; an entrepreneur who accomplished much be embracing the challenges of taking risks.  He also served proudly and honorably in the Navy during World War II.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Helen McLean Williams; brothers, Gordon and Gerald; sisters, Margaret Mack Kirkmeyer and Delpha McDaniels.  Howard is survived by his wife Martha Blackmon Williams of Scottsdale, AZ; step-son J.P. (Day) Blackmon; step-daughter Rebecca Blackmon; grandchildren Dalayna Williams and Nichole (Justin) Cravens; great-grandchildren Kaitlyn and Braden Cravens; and nephew Larry Mack.  He will be greatly missed by all who have been blessed by knowing him.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, November 30, 2017 in Hazelwood Cemetery, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  Following the services, a celebration of life and reception will be held at Hickory Hills Country Club from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm.
