Hope Souders was born November 9, 1931 and passed away May 20, 2016. She was a resident of Springfield, Missouri for 55 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Christy Carter and her husband Joe of Bush, Louisiana; Joureen Fincham and her husband Steve of Kansas City, Missouri; and her beloved Yorkie, Chelsea.

Hope is preceded in death by her husband Curtis T. Souders, her mother and two sisters.

Hope was an avid fly fisherman and a long-time member of Missouri Trout Fishermen's Association.

At her request, there will be no services. Private burial will be under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Hope will be buried with her husband at National Cemetery. The family is grateful for the compassionate care of the staff at Magnolia Square and Seasons Hospice.
