Hollis Herbert (Bert) Brower, Jr., 75, passed away Sunday February 5, 2017 in Springfield, MO.

Born September 10, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri to Doris Stearns Brower and Hollis H. Brower, he was preceded in death by his parents and his brother David Brower.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl Heimbrodt Brower; daughters Amy Brower and Holly Brower Penn (Greg Penn); and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday February 10, 2017 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, Springfield, MO. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Kingsway United Methodist Church, Springfield, MO. Burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery, Bois D'Arc, MO.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association would be greatly appreciated.
