Hilda Mae Glore, 96 years of age, of Springfield, Missouri peacefully passed away on January 26, 2017.

Hilda (Barnett) Glore was born in Springfield, Missouri on December 7, 1920 to Perry and Minnie (Mayfield) Barnett. Hilda was united in marriage to Frank J. Glore on August 16, 1938. They had three daughters, Linda, Judy and Paula. Hilda attended Springfield High School. After working at Sears for 21 years, she retired in 1980. Hilda and Frank were members of St. Agnes Catholic Church. Hilda's greatest treasure was spending time with her family and enjoying her many grandchildren.

Hilda loved to play cards and attend her sewing club on a monthly basis. Hilda and Frank enjoyed many special times at their cabin on Bull Shoals Lake and left a special place for the family to relax and remember family gatherings.

Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Minnie; her husband of 69 years Frank; son-in-law Joe Glenn; grandson David Glenn; and great-great grandson Will Pace; brothers Aubrey and Gene Barnett; and sister Dorothy Groves.

Hilda is survived by daughters Linda Glenn; Judy O'Connor and husband Dan; Paula Shipman and husband Ronnie; sister Marjorie Reed; six grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren; many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home on January 29, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pmFuneral mass will be held at St. Agnes Cathedral on January 30, 2017 at 10:00 am. Burial services to follow at White Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Agnes Cathedral.
