Helen Marie (Tiny) Williams Hartley Tucker, 84, died April 3, 2011. She was born in Fordland, MO to Charles and Janie Williams on December 18, 1926. She married Bill Hartley in 1945 and moved to Southern CA. After raising their children she enjoyed a career with the Montebella School District. Her beloved Bill preceded her in death in 1981. Helen and Sam Tucker were married in 1985 in Downey, CA and moved to Springfield, MO. She is also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Bob Williams, and a sister-in-law Jacquie Williams. Survivors include her husband, Sam Tucker of Springfield, MO; her son, Ronald (Beverly) Hartley, of Temecula, CA; daughter Carol (Doug) Reimer; stepdaughter, Nancy (Jim) Anderson of Springfield, MO; brother, Lee Williams of Glendale, AZ; sister, Mabel (Lloyd) Layne of Springfield, MO; sister-in-law, Judy Williams of Lake Ariel, PA; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a niece, three nephews, cousins and a host of wonderful friends and neighbors. Helen is a member of United Methodist Church where memorial services will be held Friday, April 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM, with The Reverend Andy Bryant officiating, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. A family greeting will precede the service beginning at 10 AM. Burial will be at a later date in Rose Hills, CA. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff at St. John's Hospital and to St. John's Hospice Care where Helen received exemplary care following a massive stroke. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Hospital Hospice Care, or to Fordland United Methodist Church (UMW), her church home growing up.
