Helen T. Smith passed away February 13th, 2024 at Springfield Rehab Nursing Home. She was born July 10th, 1924 in Grand Rapids Michigan to Michael and Therese Orzula. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Robert (Bob) Smith: her 9 siblings; and her son-in-law David Gibson. She is survived by; daughter Sandra Gibson; sons, David (Cindy) Smith, Paul (Joy) Smith, and Mark (Anna) Smith; grandchildren Ryan, Matt, Katy, Sam, Dan (Julie); and step-grandchildren Chris (Jackie), Cale (Jessica), Richard (Paula), and  William (Steve). Visitation will be held at 10:00 am followed by a prayer service (held by Fr. Tom Kiefer of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church) at 10:30 am on Tuesday February 20th, 2024 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery.
