Heidi Hilton Smith of Springfield, Missouri passed away January 29, 2022, at the age of 61 after a hard fought and courageous journey with cancer.

Heidi had an energetic passion for life and devoted her love and time on her family's faith, health, and happiness. She never took life for granted and loved creating memories with her family and friends. She enjoyed tennis, traveling, long, long, long walks, and watching movies with her daughter. Heidi truly touched the lives of those who knew her. Her goofy sense of humor, optimism, and love will greatly be missed.

Heidi is survived by her husband of 23 years, Tom Smith, daughter Kate Smith, mother Karol Simpson, sister Holly Reid, stepsister Jennifer Simpson, and stepbrothers John Simpson, Richard Simpson, and Marty Simpson.

She was preceded in death by father Jimmie Hilton and stepfather John Simpson.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at St. Agnes Cathedral Chapel. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, February 7, 2022, at Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.
