Hazel Leota "Bobbie" McNabb, 90 of Springfield passed away at 9:40 am Saturday, December 29, 2012 in Brookhaven HealthCare. She was born one of thirteen children to Joe and Laura Ghan on August 22, 1922 in Christian County, Missouri. She graduated from Clever High School. Bobbie worked for Rogers and Baldwin before settling down and having a family. She volunteered at St. John's for 15 years and even at the age of 80 was worried about the "older folks". Bobbie loved children and reading her Bible every day. She was a member of High Street Baptist Church for 30 years and recently attended Orchard Crest Baptist Church. Bobbie is survived by her husband, Ray; son Gregg and wife, Tammy all of Springfield; a sister, Betty Maples of Clever; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with the Reverend Travis Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 PM in the funeral home.
