Harold Loyd Newman, 86, Springfield, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 in his home. He was born November 15, 1926 in Blue Eye, Missouri. Harold is survived by his wife 64 years, Stella Newman; two sons, David Newman and wife, Diane and Daniel Newman; two daughters, Denise Newman and husband, Richard Schwartz and Donna Newman; aunt, Pauline Lackmann; five grandchildren, Nikki Maus, Angela Altic, Michelle Auzias de Turenne, Valerie Franklin and Jessica Newman, and seven great-grandchildren, Katie and Jordan Altic, Caitlin and Derek Maus, Gabriel and Chloe Auzias de Turenne and Addyson Franklin. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial with full military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
