Hailey Renae Barrett was a 19-year-old beautiful young lady who was born on February 7, 2006, and passed October 31, 2025, one of her favorite holidays. She lived in Willard Mo. She was in her Junior year of College at Kansas State University in the Pre-Vet program. She wanted to specialize in caring for small exotic animals.

She had a love for Broadway and musicals. She was always playing music from animations like Steven Universe or Hasbin Hotel, and musicals from Hamilton.

She was involved in the band while in high school and played the clarinet. She was an artist and had so many hobbies. Making origami, crocheting Impkins, cross stitching, puzzles, music, drawing. She played the guitar, ukulele, kalimba, clarinet, and ocarina.

Hailey wrote poems and journaled. These are her words below...

I'm the kind of girl
who is quiet in large groups or around people I don't know;
you only see the real me if we're close. I smile and laugh a lot,
especially at the most inappropriate times. I'm a hopeless romantic.

I trip over air, up stairs, and over peoples feet. I am the
hardest person to offend, but it's all too easy to make
me feel horrible. I hate telling people about my problems;
they don't need to worry about me.

I'm the one who listens to other people's problems. I believe
people should not be judged before one takes the time
to get to know them, yet I'm guilty of doing that exact thing.

I love to think rather than talk. I am awkward, clumsy, shy,
strange…but this is me. Take it or leave it.

Funeral Service will be on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 11:30 AM, with Visitation from 10:30 - 11:30 AM, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
