Rex Dicus, 80, of Springfield, died February 8, 2012, at his home. Rex was born May 9, 1931, to Fred and Leo (Vanhooser) Dicus in Dade County, Missouri. Rex is survived by his wife, Billie Lou, of the home; two children, Teresa Davis (James) and Jon Dicus (Mary); five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law; and three sisters-in-law. A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Feburary 14, 2012 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Road in Springfield, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
