IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gregory F.
Rogers
July 19, 1963 – November 28, 2024
Gregory Franklin Rogers, beloved brother, and faithful friend, entered Heavens Gates on Thanksgiving morning November 28th, 2024 while at his home located in Springfield Mo.
Greg is survived by his lifelong love and companion Theresa Sein, 1 brother, Kerry and Gina Rogers of Springfield, 3 sisters, Dannetta and Mike Hagewood of Republic, Gayla and Charlie Davis of Ozark, and Darenda and Michael Jackson of Sparta, many cousins, nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Greg was born in Springfield Mo on July 19th, 1963 to Bobby and Linda Rogers and was the 4th born of seven children. Greg was preceded in death by his parents Bobby and Linda Rogers, his older brother Allen Rogers and his baby brother Gerry Rogers.
Greg was an excellent Tile Installer, following in the footsteps of his dad who founded Rogers Tile Co in Springfield.
Greg was extremely talented. He was a writer and wrote dozens of songs, an artist, a singer, and could play Guitar, Bass, and drums. While his obvious passion was for making music, he valued making others feel happy and welcomed. He had a beautiful gift of being goofy and making others laugh.
There were two special loves in Greg's life, unlike any others and their names are Mister and Sadie. Mans best friends and faithfully by his side as he traveled down his journey of illness.
There is something beautiful about a dog and his master. He felt their love for him every moment of everyday and they felt his undying love for them.
Greg asked Jesus into his heart and he made sure heaven would be his home someday. His childlike faith and passion for all things good, drove his character of giving to others, even if it meant he would go without. He didn't know that giving was the greatest expression of love, but that expression was deep within him.
