Gregory Hans Keller, 64 of Fair Grove passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in Cox South. Hans was born June, 28, 1948 in Munich, Germany one of five children born to the military family of H. A. "Fred" and Electa Betsy Keller. Han's family moved to Springfield in 1965 from El Paso, Texas. He was a 1967 graduate of Parkview High School and completed three years at Missouri State. Over the years Hans was a self employed Painting Contractor, owned an insulation company and worked in sales for Pitney-Bowes and Sifford Office Supply. He was a merchandiser for Home Depot the past six years. During his lifetime, Hans was very active, very social and accumulated many friends. He played a lot of slow pitch softball and loved to spend time with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy Keller and her extended family of five siblings; three brothers, Timothy Keller of Cannon Beach, OR, Terry Keller of San Leandro, CA, and Gottfried "Fred" Keller; and a sister, Heidi Martin and husband, Tom all of Springfield, MO; also numerous nieces and nephews on both sides of the family and a huge number of friends. A visitation is planned for Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 2:00-4:00pm in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. A celebration of life will be announced and held at Springfield Brewing Company at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Southwest Missouri Chapter Alzheimer's Association, 1630 W. Elfindale, Springfield, Missouri 65807.
