IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Grant Louis
Hagerman
March 25, 1961 – February 18, 2023
Grant Hagerman passed February 18, 2023 at his home in Springfield, MO, surrounded by family. He was born, March 25, 1961, the beloved son of Louis B. Hagerman and Juanita "Pat" Hagerman. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol McIntyre. He is survived by his sister Linda Hagemann (Tom), nieces Marcie Renyer (Tony), Kim Hagemann, Blake Cervantes (David), nephews Chris McClellan (Karen), Dan Hagemann (Chaney), cousins, great nieces and great nephews and many "great greats". Everyone truly loved Grant.
Grant was a proud graduate of Greene Valley School. He participated in Arc programs and Park Board programs, Miracle League Baseball, Special Olympics, and he retired from the Springfield Workshop. He loved volunteering and helping the little ones at the Developmental Center, and he was a devoted member of Mary Tuck's Sunday School Class. Grant's long-term commitments were bowling, "Little House on the Prairie", the St. Louis Cardinals, McDonalds with fries and a coke, and vanilla ice cream! Grant enjoyed introducing those around him to each other, he enjoyed family pictures, and he was generous with his "thank-yous". Above all, Grant loved family and was so truly loved. He was kind, gentle, polite, appreciative and loving.
He was supported for many years by his devoted and amazing caregivers from the Arc of the Ozarks and more recently by the compassionate staff of St. Croix Hospice who helped him through his last chapter.
