Gracie Maxine Coonrod passed away peacefully January 10, 2015 at her residence in Columbia MO. She was born in Quail Texas on August 19, 1925 to Robert and Ethel Gresham. She lived most of her 89 years in Springfield MO and had countless friends and family in the area. She is survived by her son, Steven Coonrod of Columbia, sister Georgia Ream in Florida and sister Lolagean Goddard in Kansas City. She is also survived by a loving granddaughter, Melanie Schaller and a great grandson, Harrison Schaller, of Lacrosse WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin E. (Gene) Coonrod and son Christopher E. Coonrod. Maxine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a loyal friend. A graveside service will be Wednesday, January 14 at 10:00 a.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
