Grace Bernell Still passed away Sunday morning at Cox Hospital from complications stemming from a blood infection. Bernell was born January 22, 1934, in St. Joe, Arkansas, as the only child of Perry and Rosa Nell (Hudspeth) Hendrix.  She left the St. Joe area and lived most of her adult life in Springfield, where she owned and operated AAA Employment Agency for 30 years and had rental property.  Bernell was a lifelong Church of Christ member, and the pastors and members of Sunset Church of Christ were an important part of her later years.  Bernell is survived by her son Doug and his wife Angelique, her son Tony and his wife Andrea, and her five grandchildren—Leah Still Joll, Logan Still, Sierra Still, Lucas Still, and Skyler Still.  Bernell was an outgoing, one of a kind person, and she will be missed by her family and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 on Wednesday evening at Gorman-Scharpf, 1947 E. Seminole.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday at Sunset Church of Christ, 1222 W. Sunset, in Springfield, at 10 AM.  Graveside burial will be at Osborne Cemetery in St Joe, Arkansas, at 3:00 that afternoon.  Donations may be made to Fair Haven Children's Home, 3132 Fairhaven Loop, Strafford, MO, 65757, or to Sunset Church of Christ, 1222 W.
