Obituary
Gordon passed away peacefully in his home on December 3, 2011, after an extended illness. He was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran and a 22 year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department, attaining the rank of Sergeant. Gordon was a great lover of animals; donations are suggested to the Springfield C.A.R.E. Animal Shelter. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
