Glenn Luther Stanley, age 89, passed away on June 28, 2024, in Springfield, MO. He was born on May 1, 1935, to his parents, John Walcot Stanley and Velma Olive Whaley.

Glenn graduated from East High School in Wichita, Kansas, in 1953. Following graduation, he worked for Southwestern Bell as a Wichita Lineman and later as a telephone installer. Eventually, he opened his own telecommunications company, CTA.

He was predeceased by both his parents, John and Velma, and two brothers, John Stanley and Eddie Stanley. His granddaughter, Topaz Star Hall, also preceded him in death.

Survivors include his brother, Larry Stanley of Galveston, TX, and his sons: John Mark Stanley of Las Vegas, NV, and Aaron Lee Stanley of Atascocita, TX. His daughters are Karla Jane (Stanley) Lowe and her husband Timothy Lowe from Lewisville, NC, and Cathy Linn (Stanley) Gloria and her husband Jerry Gloria from Wimberly, TX. Glenn is also survived by seven grandchildren: Brandon Wright, Kellie Anderson, Cameron Lowe, Shelbi (Lowe) Strube, Ryan Gloria, Brad Gloria, and Jazzy Star Stump, as well as thirteen great-grandchildren.

A visitation and graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 6, at Evergreen Cemetery, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
