Geraldine Schatman was born 1/6/1932 in Blanche, MO, the only child of Elmer and Lillian Berry. She passed away in Springfield, MO on 6/9/2026.

As a young adult, Geri made a profession of faith as a Catholic. Geri served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, living in Japan. She excelled in her work with messaging, signals, and codes. Geri then had a career in wholesale sales with the Playtex Corporation. After retirement, she admirably fulfilled the role of caregiver for a friend and for her mother.

Geri traveled extensively, both in the United States and to many destinations throughout the world. Geri loved animals, particularly her cats. She was fortunate to have enjoyed both of these passions throughout her life, passing peacefully at her home surrounded by her cats, just as she wanted.
