She was raised in Kansas City, MO until the early 1970's when she moved with her mother and older sister to Springfield, MO where she spent several years. Following that she lived in several different places finally settling in Oakland, CA in 1996 where she met and married her late husband Ray Floyd. She remained in Oakland for the past 16 years until the passing of her husband in October 2011. Deanie passed away on May 18, 2012 at 8pm after a long battle. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Fred and Amel V. Stoner, Son Joseph Anthony Stoner and Husband Ray Floyd. Deanie leaves to cherish her memory, her Mother Barbara Looney, Father Jerry Stoner, Sisters Belinda Bedell and Lisa Stoner and Brother Jerry Stoner Jr. Three children: Latoya Stoner, Glen Michael Johnson, and Cortezz Haire. A special goodbye to my 1st love Lib Montley and my last, Joseph Lamar Bedell. Deanie was a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend and she will be greatly missed. Although her life was short on this earth, the precious times and memories we had with her will live in our hearts forever.
