Obituary

Georgia Maxine (Hubbard) Misemer was born September 9, 1923. "MaMa or NaNa" was called home on August 15, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Marshfield, Missouri to Carl and Lena Hubbard, she had a younger brother named David Todd who preceded her in death.  In 1950, she married the love of her life Beauford Lee "Bo" Misemer.  They shared trips to Florida, grilling dinners for family, lots of lake time, and golfing.  Georgia had the gift of gab and never knew a stranger.  She sold pots and pans, legal services, Branson tours, and her daughter's insurance business.

She loved her 10:00am hair appointments on Fridays, her 5:00pm happy hour, church on Sundays, her Red Hat Ladies outings, and her Yak and Knit Club.  Every week, she looked forward to which friend she would go to lunch, movies, or play cards with.  She especially enjoyed her visits and outings with one of her best friends, Alice.  She was an avid boutique shopper which supplied her with closets full of shoes, clothes and accessories.  When she walked into a room, she was the classy lady who was always noticed.  She had a permanent smile on her face, and people knew she loved living life.  To know Georgia was to love Georgia, and she would love you back.

Georgia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul Max and Pat Misemer; her best friend and daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Ron Hosp; as well as her cousin, who has been a second son to her, Jay, and his wife, Fayenelle Helm; and her other cousin, Denny and his wife Sandy Parnell; along with her 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many other treasured relatives and friends.

Her family is comforted knowing that she rejoins her husband, Bo, and beloved son, Berry Lee Misemer, in heaven.

There will be a private family celebration of life in September where she will be laid to rest next to her soulmate and best friend, her husband.
