Georgette Purvis, 83, Springfield, MO went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in Mercy Hospital. She was born November 16, 1929 in Lowell, MA to Lucien and Henrietta Pelletier. She was united in marriage to Teddy L. Purvis in 1964. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parrish and was also an LPN. She loved to crochet, read and visit the ocean. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucien and Henrietta Pelletier and husband, Teddy L. Purvis. She is survived by her son, Eric Purvis; granddaughter, Hannah Purvis and special little guy Justin Luttjohann of Springfield, MO; Andre and Therese Pelletier of Dayton, OH; and many more friends and family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 10:00am in the funeral home with Msgr. Thomas E. Reidy celebrant. Burial will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
