George Helfrecht age, 91 of Springfield passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022. He was a member of St. Johns U. C. C.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jean Helfrecht, his three sisters, Jean Panhorst, Dorthy Hale, and Suzanne Lindsey.

George is survived by his daughter, Susan Waugh, his son-in-law, Doug Waugh, his grandson, Zachary Waugh, his granddaughter, Wendy Waugh, all of Springfield, MO, and his sister, Nancy Graham, Kansas City, MO.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 18 ^th , 2022 in Hazelwood Cemetery, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southwest Missouri Humane Society.
