Gary E. Tannehill, 64, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011 in St. John's Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Edith; daughter, Loretta Runyan half brother, Kent Pervis; and grandchildren, Lisa Runyan and Timothy Runyan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Beatrice Tannehill; brother, Ronnie Tannehill; and half brother, James R. Hastings. Gary owned and operated a trash company in Springfield. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Gorman-Scharpf University Chapel. Graveside services will be held Monday, July 11 at 1 p.m. in Eastlawn Cemetery, with The Reverend B.J. Chapman officiating.
