Gary Wynn Scott, born July 1 ^st , 1943 in Springfield, MO passed away peacefully on September 15 ^th , 2020 after a short illness. Gary graduated from Willard High School in 1961. He served in the Vietnam War from 1966 – 1968 and was awarded the Bronze Star and other commendations. He assisted on the family farm where he developed his entrepreneurial spirit.

He built a successful business buying and selling heavy equipment to buyers all over the United States and retired in 2010 after more than 40 years in his trade.

Gary is survived by his mother Louise, sister Pat, son Alex and his wife Crystal Scott, and daughter Laura and husband Ross Johnson, and grandchildren Emily, Allison, Luke, Natalie and step grandchildren Kara Richardson and Kamryn Walker.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 21 ^st , 2020 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home with a graveside service September 22 ^nd , 2020 at 11:00am in Eastlawn Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
