Gary enjoyed life to his fullest. He loved going on cruises with his wife. He enjoyed traveling to the places for their cruises. He loved spending time with his family and grandkids and great-grandkids. He never showed people how much he loved them no matter what had happened from past to present. He loved his children even if they did not talk. When talking with dad he was sorry that he did not spend more time with each and every one of them. He loved each and every one of you in his own way. Gary had traveled a lot in the past 6 to 7 years with his wife. They have traveled from Florida to Washington. They had just gotten back from Alaska.
I know that no matter what you will always be with me.
When life separates us, I'll know it is only your soul saying goodbye to your body.
But your spirt will be with me always.
When I see the fish flopping in the nearby lake
I will know it is you singing to me.
When a butterfly brushes gently by me so care freely
I will know it is you assuring me you are free from pain.
When the gentle fragrance of flower catches my attention
I will know it is you reminding me to appreciate the simple things in life.
When the sun shining through my window awakens me,
I feel the warmth of your love.
When I hear the rain pitter patter against my windowsill.
I will hear your words of wisdom and will remember what you taught me so well.
That without rain, trees cannot grow
without rain, flowers cannot bloom
Without life's challenges I cannot grow strong.
When I think of the mountains, their majesty and magnificence
I will think of the courage for the country, you have served.
No matter where I am, my spirit will be beside you for as long as you are on this earth
my hands will be wrapped around you till we meet again.
