Obituary
Gary Metcalf, age 79, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on November 23, 2023. He was born to Bill and Cathy Metcalf in Colorado Springs,Colorado on December 1, 1943.
Gary served as a United Methodist Minister in Missouri for 45 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Jane Metcalf; daughter Debbie Arnold (son-in-law Billy Arnold, grandsons Joseph and Christopher Arnold); and his daughter Stephanie Shafer (grandsons Matthew and Levi Shafer); and his brother Jerry Metcalf (nephews Jason and Little Jerry Metcalf).
There will be a visitation from 10:30-11:30 A.M. with a memorial service at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri.
