Gary Jordan

February 19, 1940 – November 4, 2020

Gary Dean Jordan, 80, died at Cox South Hospital following complications of a pulmonary embolism.

Gary Jordan was born in Springfield, MO, the son of Thurman MacDonald and Martha Ann Baldwin Jordan on February 19, 1940.

Gary spent over 60 years in banking after starting his career at Union National Bank in 1958.  He retired in 2018 after working as a correspondent banker for many years.

He leaves behind many friends and family to cherish his memory including a son Randy (Susan), two grandchildren, Cameron and Tristan, a brother Herschel, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Willa, his parents, a sister Bonnie Montgomery, and brothers Don and Carl Jordan.

Per his wishes, no services are planned, however there will be a celebration of life planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign or a charity of the donor's choice.
