Obituary

Gail L. Bogle, age 67, of Brighton, MO passed away at 9:30 a.m. on April 2, 2024 from a recent serious illness. She was born the daughter of Preston Ray Jr. and Doris L. Ray in Springfield, MO.

Gail came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior as a teenager and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mom, sister and grandmother. She dearly loved her family, and was instrumental in the raising of many of her grandchildren. Gail loved motorsports, especially NASCAR, where she attended many races with her husband, Ron.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Ashley Dillard. She is survived by husband of nearly 30-years, Ron M. Bogle, Brighton, MO; sons, Rob Grant and wife Carla and William Grant II and wife Tiffany, all of Springfield, MO; sister, Sandra Dillard, Granbury, TX; step-sons, Brent Bogle, CA, Ron Bogle II, Las Vegas, and Jesse Bogle, Cape Girardeau, MO; step-daughter, Ronnee Bogle, Springfield, MO; best friend, Star Whitworth, Morrisville, MO; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Ray Adams officiating at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
