Freda Spurlock 87,of Springfield was taken to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 3, 2009, after suffering a stroke. Freda was preceded in death by her husband Russell Howard; a daughter Jo Ann; a grandson Dalton Hickson; and her four siblings. She is survived by two children, Patricia Staley (husband Harry) and son Howard L. Spurlock. She had 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She will be missed by all.
