Frankie A. Sims, 85, of Springfield passed away peacefully January 25, 2013. Frankie was born in Stark City, MO. to Allie and Frank West. She graduated from Neosho High School and owned the Sims' Paint store in Neosho with her husband, S.D. Sims, and was a member of the Neosho Methodist Church. Frankie was a lifelong resident of Neosho until moving to Springfield in the fall of 2011 to be closer to her daughter. She is survived by her daughter Susan Shirleen Sims-Giddens of Springfield. Her parents, seven siblings and husband preceded her in death. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Dice Cemetery, Stark City, Missouri, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
