Francis Gene Sethman, 83 of Springfield, passed on May 23, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. Frank is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty Jean Sethman. Frank and Betty have four children Ross, Scott, Jane and Lori and spouses. Frank left a legacy of 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Frank was born in Salina, KS on Nov. 21, 1929. He served in the Korean War and attended Kansas State on the GI bill. Frank worked for the Defense Mapping for 38 years in St. Louis, MO then moved to Springfield, MO after his retirement in 1996. Frank was a husband, father, friend, soldier, patriot and scholar. He will be greatly missed. Private graveside services with full military honors will be held in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
