Obituary

Popeye's and Fazzoli's lost a loyal customer on August 28, 2017, when Francis J. Brennan passed away peacefully at Beautiful Savior Nursing Home in Belton, MO.  Frank was born in Framingham, MA on December 28, 1931 to Francis and Margaret Brennan.  He grew up in Boston, graduated with a BA from the University of Boston and was a lifelong Red Sox Fan.  Even after his move to the Mid-South in 1976, he never lost his Bostonian accent.  Frank was a decorated veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Army Infantry Unit stationed in Germany. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years Peggy Lou Sartain.  He was a Jack of All Trades and his winsome personality made him successful in all of his endeavors. His favorite place was the beach, he was an avid boater and excellent swimmer.

Frank is survived by a sister, Mary Tolan of Watertown, Mass, his two sons, Steve Sartain and his wife Cindy of Dublin, Ohio, Chris Sartain and his wife Debbie of Overland Park, Kansas; and five grandchildren, Keri Sartain, Olathe, Kansas, Kelsie Sartain, Little Rock, Arkansas, Danielle Sartain, Nashville, Tennessee, Katie Sartain, Dublin, Ohio and Brent Sartain, Dublin, Ohio.

The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Beautiful Savior Nursing Home.
