Frances A. Bounds entered her heavenly home on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the age of 91.  She was born to George and Mable Hunter on July 9, 1926 in Springfield MO where she lived until moving to Mt. Vernon in 2000 to be near her grandchildren.

She was married to Harry E. Bounds on December 22, 1945 who preceded her in death in 1978. In addition to being a wife, mother and grandmother, she was employed by Springfield Garment Factory, Russel Stover's and Heer's Department Store.  She took particular pride in helping her clientele as a sales consultant for Estee Lauder Cosmetics.  She lived her life totally dedicated to serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Fran is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Phil) Trokey, grandchildren Andrew (Linda), Ryan, Ethan (Julia), Breanne (Dakota) Going, and Victoria, great-grandchildren, Addison, Anthony, Makayla, Melinda, Harrison, and Parker.  Also surviving are brother Jack (Mary) and numerous brother and sisters-in-law.

Fran is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings Pearl, Georgia, Billy, Frankie, Betty, Donald and Paul.

Visitation will be at 1:00 pm April 3, 2018 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home followed by the Celebration of Life service at 1:30 pm.
