Forda Nathane Campbell, 88, of Springfield, MO died at her home on Tuesday, January 23 , 2018. Interment will be held at Danforth Cemetery on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., and a Victory Worship Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Springfield, with Pastor Andy Eppard officiating. Following the service, the family will receive guests in the fellowship hall and lunch will be served for all. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home in Springfield.
The daughter of John Blondville Murray and Clara Belle Ford Murray, Forda was born in Carthage, MO, on February 12, 1929. She graduated from Greenwood Laboratory High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with an emphasis in Accounting and a minor in Mathematics from Missouri State University. She was employed by City Utilities in Springfield as well as office manager for two physician offices in Joplin.
Forda was the beloved wife of Gordon Calvin Campbell, a Presbyterian minister, and celebrated 68 wonderful years together. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother. In addition to her husband of the home, survivors include a daughter, Sara Lynne Campbell Tamburrino (Tim Tamburrino) of Rolla, MO and Mark Calvin Campbell (Terry Campbell) of Spring Hill, TN and three grandchildren, Abigail Margaret Campbell, Rebecca Claire Campbell and infant Carl Matthew Tamburrino, who passed away at 20 days in 1992.

She will be sorely missed by her family and friends as she is promoted to Heaven's glory and into the loving arms of our Savior.
