Mrs. Flora S. Walsh, 94, of Springfield departed her earthly life to be with her Heavenly Father on July 12, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, and daughter, Antonia Campion. She was born on October 29, 1916 to Antonio V. Simone and Victoria L. Scorza. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was married to her beloved husband, Edward on October 29, 1939. She is survived by her son-in-law, Fredrick Campion of Carmel, New York; grandchildren, Jeffery E. Campion, Christopher S. Campion, Dawn A. Campion, Fredrick J. Campion and Kendal J. Campion; and great-grandchildren, all of New York. Also surviving her is sister, Victoria I. Cook; nieces, Celeste S. Cacioppo of Springfield, MO and Antonia Wieland of Seymour, MO; and several other nieces and nephews. No service or burial is being planned as Mrs. Walsh is to be cremated per her request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Compassus, 1465 E. Primrose, Springfield, MO 65804, who gave their love and tender care to Mrs. Walsh during her final days.
