Ferd Orlo Wise Jr, born July 2nd, 1938 at Morningside Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Carroll Pugh Wise and Ferd O. Wise has passed away on October 2, 2017 in Springfield. MO.  For the past 27 years Ferd lived on Table Rock Lake with his wife, Mary C. Casada.  Ferd is survived by his wife Mary, three sons, Matt, Brent and Christian and their wives, Amber, Pamela, and Cheryl, and six grandchildren, Julia, Quentin, Madeline, Clara, Ben and William.  Ferd was preceded in life by his parents and his daughter, Julia Allison Wise.

Ferd's life was a great journey moving from Tulsa to Lubbock in 1947, he grew up in West Texas, played football and worked with his father installing irrigation systems.  He attended Colorado School of Mines on a football scholarship but quickly moved to the University of Tulsa and ultimately received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.  Ferd was married to Martha Hurt Wise, loving mother to Brent, Christian and Julia Wise, until 1987.

Ferd began his career as a human resource professional.  His desire to support, help and understand others led to a different life path.   He was accepted to the graduate program of the University of Missouri – Columbia, where he finished his doctoral degree in 1979.   Ferd was an excellent and compassionate Psychologist, loving his work and committed to providing the best service to adults and children in Springfield, Branson and Reeds Spring, MO.  He retired in 2015.

Ferd has left countless positive memories and impressions on thousands of people.  He is dearly missed by his wife Mary, his children and grandchildren.  His insights, jokes, stories, advice and his perspective cannot be replaced.
