Obituary

Faye Sisco, age 91, passed away December 27, 2016. She was born March 3, 1925 to Lewis and Eutoka Wells in Ash Grove, MO. Faye trusted in Christ as her savior at a young age. Her junior year she played softball on the Chelan high school team in Washington. She loved watching baseball especially the Cardinals, Diamondbacks and Mariners. She graduated from Ash Grove high school with honors. Faye Wells met Ray at "The Well" not entirely by accident with a little help from her sister and her husband who lived next door. She married Ray Sisco from Galloway, MO in 1943. They resided at 3530 S. Horseshoe, the site of "The Well" for over 50 years in Springfield, MO. In their earlier years of marriage, they resided between Springfield, MO and Chelan, WA. Faye worked packing apples in Chelan, WA. She enjoyed baking and made "amazing French toast." She loved to travel and had a good sense of humor with a great smile and a twinkle in her eye. She enjoyed fishing and trips to AZ. Faye was the Valentine Queen of Magnolia Square in 2015.  Faye and Ray were famous for being able to talk and listen to each other simultaneously. They loved to sit outside under the maple tree and visit with each other and anyone who wanted to visit. They especially loved visiting with their family and eating Kentucky Fried Chicken at the picnic table under the tree. She loved her cat and grand-dogs. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was married to Ray for 67 years and to this union 4 children were born.

They had three daughters Kay Hunt Barner (deceased), Linda Sisco, Glendale AZ, and Shirley and Paul Cofer, Bolivar, MO; son David and Lisa Sisco of Glendale AZ; grandchildren, Cheryl Dozier, Glen Hunt (deceased), Justin, Jordan and Jacob Cofer, Jonathan Cofer (deceased), Sean Sisco; great-grandchildren, Bradley Dozier (deceased), Amanda Dozer, Tyler Hunt, Peyton and Claire Cofer; great-great grandchildren Thea and Kota Vanbuskirk.
